This data set is the time series data of different flood intensity levels and flood level thematic map of the Manas River basin on the northern slope of Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang from 1957 to 2012. With reference to the flood classification method proposed by Xu Wucheng (2004), the measured daily runoff data of the Kenswat Hydrological Station at the outlet of the Manas River Basin on the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang from 1957 to 2012 are taken as the evaluation hydrological elements to carry out the classification and time series data mapping generation. The thematic map shows the flood intensity level with 0~12 different values. This thematic map can be used to quantitatively describe the flood intensity and its potential destructive power level, and is fully open and shared.
